The Avondale Neighborhood History Initiative is a community-driven project to document the rich and vital history of Avondale. We believe that the collaborating process of collecting, documenting, interpreting, and disseminating the resources with broad audiences empowers the community to acknowledge and uplift existing community assets. Everyone’s story and experiences in Avondale is historically important - and we appriciate your curiocity and look forward to hearing your voices.

EXPLORE the private collection and stories behind the item.
VISIT the Cincinnati Public Library. The Avondale branch of Cincinnati Public History holds a local history collection, which contains newspapers, articles, and book chapters related to the history of Avondale.
SHARE your interest of Avondale history with ANHI. What aspects of the community do you want to know more? Do you know anyone who has a story of Avondale to tell? Share information with us!
