Many of our new minors and majors have completed some of their lower-level requirements through AP credit. However, we still advise that you take at least one course, 1007 level or above, during the fall term.
Looking for a Freshmen Seminar? We have one-two every term.
If you are coming in with AP credit, fall is a great time to take a survey (1007 or above) or a 2000-level course!
It is never too early to declare your major in history—as it opens the gateway for you to select major concentrations! For more information, see Major Concentrations on the main catalog page.
If you are a transfer student, please see the Transfer Student Advice.
