This course is a survey covering the discoveries of the Dead Sea Scrolls and their contents. It includes an analysis of selected themes, a discussion of their relevance to Christian origins and later developments in Judaism, and an evaluation of their impact in the 20th century.
History students must enroll in this under HIST 3080 to earn credit toward their Major or Minor.
