Walter E. Langsam

Walter E. Langsam is a retired adjunct professor of DAAP at UC Main Campus who worked there from 1986 to 2015. His father, Walter C. Langsam, was president of the University of Cincinnati from 1955 to 1971. Here he discusses his unique experience as the son of the president as well as being an adjunct professor and an LQBTQ faculty member.

Jay Chatterjee

Jay Chatterjee an emeritus faculty member. He served as Dean of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning (DAAP) and Professor of Architecture at the University of Cincinnati for 40 years. His work can be seen not only in the architectural transformation of UC’s campus, but also in every major architectural building in Cincinnati in the past 30 years. Some of his accomplishments range from the transformation of UC’s campus to the reorganization of the College of DAAP.

Oscar Fernandez

Oscar Fernandez is an emeritus faculty member of the University of Cincinnati who served in the College of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning. He was influential in the development of the Hablamos Juntos project. Fernandez with his fellow associates from other universities worked on the Hablamos Juntos project to help those with a language barrier understand hospital signs nationwide.
