Minor & Cross-College Major

The History Minor: Declare your Expertise

Your History minor makes you a competitive candidate for many teaching positions, yet prospective employers won’t know you earned your History Minor–as part of your SECED SS History coursework–unless you declare it!

The Cross-College History Major: You are closer than you think!

Earning a History Major in addition to your SECED SS History degree makes you an even more competitive candidate for many teaching positions than your SECEDC SS History peers who declare the History Minor (it won’t show up on the transcript unless you declare it).

The Cross-College Major does not require you to fulfill their GenEd requirements for A&S; it only requires you to fulfill the requirements for the History Major.
