This course will introduce students to a variety of propaganda films made during World War II.
The class will focus on Germany, Britain, and the United States; the three nations most active in the production and utilization of film propaganda during the war.
In addition to viewing cinematic sources, students will be introduced to a variety of primary printed sources relating to the development and dissemination of film propaganda and learn the methodology necessary to analyze film as a historical source
