Dr. Howard Jackson received a his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Rochester, New York. He is currently a Professor in the Physics Department and Distinguished Teaching Professor at the University of Cincinnati.

Laura Kretschmer

Laura Kretschmer is a retired emerita professor. She began her career at the University of Cincinnati 1967 in the Department of Audiology. She and her husband made several contribution to the University. These included research, endowments and support for the UC athletic program. Kretschmer retired in 2009 and continues to be an active member in the UC Bearcat community.

John Hancock

John Hancock is a former professor in the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) and taught design. He talks about his volunteering project, the Ancient Earth Works of Ohio. Hancock also discusses about his experiences with the architecture design for the main campus of the University of Cincinnati.

Barbara Ramusack

Barbara Ramusack discusses her time at UC in the History Department. Ramusack struggled against the sexism within her field to become not only a renowned scholar on India and the British, but also department chair at UC. She discusses these experiences, as well as what it was like to be at UC during the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s and 1970s

David Lee Smith

David Lee Smith is a retired faculty member and emeritus of the College of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning specializing in Architecture and Interior Design. His active years on campus were from 1965 to 2012. He served as faculty chair in the University of Cincinnati faculty governance for two years.

Richard Kretschmer

Dr. Richard Kretschmer was hired in 1969 and worked in the Department of Special Education. During the interview, he shared his passion for helping students with hearing and speech disabilities. Dr. Kretschmer gives a lot of credit toward the University of Cincinnati for giving him the services and needs for him to succeed in his field of study.
