Examination of the rise of Christianity from its inception to the 6th Century C.E. The interplay between Judaism Christianity and the Greek and Roman world provides the lens for understanding the religion’s spread throughout the Roman empire.
Students must take thus course under Hist 2034 for it to count towards the History major or minor.
